About the Role
The Travel Booking Specialist is responsible for executing and managing user travel bookings, including stays, experiences, restaurants, and transportation. This role requires high attention to detail, efficiency in booking processes, and adaptability to AI-driven workflows. Additionally, during periods of low booking activity, the specialist will contribute to travel-related content creation using AI tools.
What you’ll do
- Manage incoming booking requests and process them efficiently based on the provided details.
- Receive notifications of new booking requests and review the list of required bookings, including corresponding websites, availability, timing, and estimated prices.
- Ensure all bookings align with company standards for accuracy and customer satisfaction.
- Check for the availability of all venues before proceeding with the booking.
- Utilize AI tools to generate travel-related content (e.g., blog posts, social media updates, or promotional materials) during low booking activity periods.
- Maintain records of all bookings and assist in tracking booking metrics such as time taken per booking and accuracy.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field preferred but not required.
- At least 1-2 years of direct experience in travel booking is required. Candidates with 3-4 years of general travel customer service experience may be considered, but preference will be given to those with hands-on booking experience.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to execute tasks with high precision.
- Fast typing speed and proficiency in using online booking platforms.
- Ability to work in rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Comfort with AI tools is not required, but a willingness to learn and experiment with new technologies is essential.
- Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
