Responsibilities

About the Role

The Accounting Assistant will manage daily accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, and administrative support. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to accounting rules and regulations, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.

What you’ll do

  • Prepare accounts payable and receivable invoices, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
  • Monitor and reconcile account balances, manage petty cash, and track daily cash flow.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, reports, and other key financial documents.
  • Support inventory accounting on a daily and monthly basis, maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Perform basic accounting functions, including data entry, ledger maintenance, and journal entries.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, policies, and regulations at all times.
  • Handle sensitive financial information and correspondence with the utmost confidentiality.


Qualifications

What You Bring

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
  • Experienced in the Food and Beverage (F&B) Industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Office tools.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
