About the Role.

The Talent Acquisition Manager plays a critical role in driving successful talent acquisition strategies and ensuring the delivery of high-quality talent across the organization. This leadership position requires a strategic thinker with strong operational execution skills and a proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do


Operational Excellence:

  •  Oversee the day-to-day execution of all recruiting operations, including but not limited to:
  • Job posting and sourcing strategies
  • Candidate screening and assessment processes
  • Interview scheduling and coordination
  • Offer negotiation and acceptance
  • Onboarding and new hire orientation
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for all recruitment-related issues.

Team Leadership & Management:

  • Manage and mentor a high-performing team of recruiters, ensuring their professional development and growth.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and set clear goals and expectations.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.

Resource Management:

  • Manage and optimize recruitment budgets, including agency fees, job boards, and other recruitment expenses.
  • Proactively identify and implement cost-effective recruitment strategies.

Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers and business leaders to understand their hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Analyze recruitment data and trends to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
  • Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talent in a competitive market.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and business leaders across the organization.
  • Proactively address their concerns and provide exceptional client service.

Reporting & Analytics:

  • Develop and maintain key recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate source effectiveness.
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards to track recruitment progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Present data-driven insights to leadership on recruitment trends and performance.

Hypercare Support:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for hypercare projects, ensuring a smooth and successful onboarding experience for critical hires.

Strategic Advisory:

  • Provide strategic advice to the VP of Talent Acquisition on key recruitment initiatives and challenges.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in talent acquisition.
Qualifications

What You Bring

  • Experience: At least 8 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, with a proven track record in managing high-performing teams.
  • Expertise: In-depth knowledge of recruitment processes, best practices, and industry trends.
  • Hires for Quality. Runs an effective team governed by industry best practices to ensure retention among new hires.
  • Leadership: Effective leadership and management skills; leadership that is genuinely aligned with Penbrothers Core Values.
  • Client Management: Experience in managing client relationships, with the ability to act as a consultant and advisor. Provides exceptional client service.

                 - Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies.
